Got myself a spindle load meter recently from Tormach and fitted it to my PCNC1100 series 2 over the weekend. All relatively simple as its one hole and four wires so what could go wrong.

Bugger they went quick and I am only in the US for a further week. Never mind if you relist them I will get mule to bring me one back and save the import duty and taxes.

Might be of more interest to UK Tormach users but I have a few ¾ shank ER32 Y&S tool holders spare. I could only buy in tens which is more than I need.

Anyone having problems exporting from Solidworks 2013? When I press the SC8 export icon in SW. SC8 opens but there is nothing there. Eric had a teamviewer session and could not identify the problem...

Only gripe I have with the holders is that the hole in the middle is not ½ clearances if you’re using a long tool and want to push it in to reduce the stick out.

Just looking at the end mills $170 for a 38mm seems harsh and you still have the arbour to buy on top. What are the alternatives if any for insert tooling?
