I agree with you. But right now cw is making changes to the firmware that is adding limitations to what you use to be able to do. They should give you more in a firmware update not take away...

for some strange reason i cant get sheetcam to drill 2 seperate holes. It see the first one and shows the tool path but the second one (which is a different layer) it doesnt show a tool path to it....

when i was playing with KCAM it acted screwy! did differnt things every time i tryied to do the same thing! I dumped it and am now useing TURBOCNC. WHAT A DIFFERNCE! dont waste your time with Kcam...

your cutting at 10ipm (G01) should be fine.
sound like your rapid move (G00) that is giving you the problem.
ok that sounds like you have it set to move to fast. your G00.
turn down your rapid speed and try it.

try running the program dry. What i mean is all setup so the cutter doesnt actually come down and touch the wood. then run the program. see if the same thing happens. if so then its not the wood!...
