Little more digging into the existing hardware revealed a tag on the main XYZ amplifier- it has the following info:
Hyper-Loop
Model 124HLB90-3L
Part Number 152-4683-034
If anyone knows where...
I've got a Bostomatic 14/40 here currently being controlled using a Fagor 8025M CNC, and am looking at the possibilities for retrofitting it a second time to utilize a PC-based solution, ideally...
When the battery on the 8025M units I have here goes bad, the control first gives a warning about low battery and then a couple weeks later boots up in spanish with all of its configuration wiped...
I have delt with both controls, the GE MCI control is not quite the same as a fagor 80xx series.
They are similar though, it's just the parameters encoded in binary that are specific to each...
Is it actually a scale effect? Or does it get that much of a movement error on any motion. For instance tell it to move to 6.000" and see how far out it is.
I know for a fact that both of the...
What kind of machine is it attached to?
Have you checked for the presence of a PLC in the system?
I'd check for mechanical problems, if it hit with any amount of power behind it you may have damaged your ball screws and other vital machine areas.
Also check the fuses in the drive amplifiers.

That's what it sounds like. I was hoping to be able to re-use as much as the existing control as possible because in the five minutes that the original control ran before burning up everything on...
It isn't that old, though the only date I could find on it was when it's parameters were last backed up before it got removed from service, and that was in 2005.
They don't make suitable hardware...
Hi again. I have a Fanuc control that looks like it is missing a few parts, though the mainboard is there and identified out as a Fanuc 21i.
Does anyone have a parts list for what this control...
If you can find one, a 7824 Voltage Regulator IC in a standard usage should also be able to provide what you need, plus the regulation of it would likely improve machine reliability if your filter...
Might be able to connect a relay across the mouse button to basically the same effect, once the mouse is positioned you then use a pulse generator to close the relay every half second or so to make...
It doesn't have a as best I can tell, it isn't appearing in the devices menu for the Fagor LAN.
Though I found a few more of it's manuals and was able to get it going. At this very moment I am...
Bit of an update, I have gotten the GE MarkCentury ONE fully operating, it's cutting parts at this very moment.
Though the Fagor 8025 is stubbornly refusing to work still.
I did manage to get...
Would the PLC be affected if the main box lost it's battery backup?
This is a 8025 CNC controlling a three axis mill, using a PLC1 to manage the shifting and tool changer.
So far I have...
Anyway, at work there is a Fagor 8025 CNC controller connected to a refitted Pratt & Whitney Tri-Max XV milling machine. It lost it's battery and settings, and while I have already replaced the...
It should be possible to produce battery packs with compatible specifications using off-the-shelf rechargable batteries from local sources.
For instance, a Fagor 8025 CNC is almost 1:1 compatible...
