Deltacut 900 and 500 are zinc "coated" wires. The key word being "coated".
This wire has no chance of cutting faster than SW25X wire.

Question, why do you need a floppy disk to boot up your 510? Do you actually mean that you need it to load software or do you really need it to boot up? If you actually must have it to boot...
First thing is do you have a Charmilles or Fanuc control? They were made with both. If not sure watch the boot up sequence. That should give you some clues.
