Burney and I finally finished the rotary axis for Joe's 4X4 Hybrid. I've included lots of pictures that I hope make it clear how it was built. The rotary axis is hung between the first and second...
Not wrapper, but my wizard called wrap. On the website it showed text wrapped around a cylinder. The text was created by VCarvePro for a normal flat XY panel. The wrap wizard swapped the Y for the A...
My wrap wizard will allow a 3D relief gcode (or any other gcode) that would normally carve on a flat surface to be wrapped around a cylinder.
Hi Khalid. Now that you have a rotary axis you might want to take a look at my indexer wizards for Mach3.

Please let me know what you think of them.
I am pleased to announce that a new wizard has been added to my Indexer Wizards package. The Wave Wizard is used to cut sine waves onto a straight or tapered cylinder. Depending on the bit used and...
Here's a couple of pictures of work done with my new wave wizard. The wizard will be released in a few days.
In the manual you suggest using a N.O. switch for E-stop. I always thought that an N.C. switch is safer as a broken or loose wire would cause an E-stop. Using a N.O. switch a broken wire will result...
Mariss, congratulations on getting the G540 out. It appears that the wiring diagram is wrong in respect to the wiring of the E-stop switch. The text says pin 6 and the diagram shows pin 10.
Click Config/Homing Limits. Then click Reversed for the X axis.
Would you please activate my registration?
Thanks!
A fourth wizard has been added to the collection. This one will create any diameter cylinder out of rough stock or larger diameter cylinders. It will also create tapered cylinders.
In addition,...

This lathe looks almost identical to the Harbor Freight 12X36 I had a couple of years ago. It was a good lathe. I bought it new for $1,600 including the stand at a Harbor Freight store. I don't know...
I'd suggest using Eagle (a free version is available) to layout the PCB. A free ULP (user language program) is available that will generate gcode to do exactly what you want. Here's there web site:

I believe you are seeing mid band resonance (if you try to tune the motors to higher velocity they don't work well). You need inertial dampers on the motors. Using a Xylotex driver you should be able...
Use LazyCam. It comes with Mach3.
Forgot to ask, what do you want it converted to?
