When you install it, it shows up on your menu bar under "Plugins". To use it I believe you have to select whatever you want to export (I could be wrong as I have Sketchup pro). At least that's how...

If you don't have Sketchup Pro you have to add DXF import/export as a plugin. You can get the plugin from the Google Sketchup site. Just scroll down the page. It says 7.1 but it will work with 8....
