So I have to make a fake tool change at the end of the work day to leave to old tool or to make a macro for park position of the current tool, right?
Hi Arturo! Thank you. The macro that I am already using is based on the one you postet on your web site. Still maybe I am missing something, since I turn on the machine and if I write m6 t3 in MDI...
Hi guys! I am Peter and this is my 3rd uccnc build. First one with atc spindle.
So I did what I could and i found a few ways to use the m6 macro. But they are very scetchy.
I can use the atc...
OSAI 510S.
Guys I recently bought second hand brembana concept machine. It comes with OSAI 510s and I really need post for Artcam 2012 and Artcam 2018. BTW there is post for Aspire and it surprises me to find...
I agree with you that it is a great program. The reason I am searching for an alternative is the fact that it some cases it I scan the surface of the material and when I try to open the RPF the...
Hi Gerry. Thank you for the idea. I have tried in the past one plugin for UCCNC that was also named autoleveler. But unfortunately I never got it running. I Have tried a few different versions and...
Ok. Form what I see there are tons of touch probes in the network. Especially in places like ebay. There are a lot of them that work with mach 3, but I don't see any software associated with the...
In the past, I tried g-code ripper. I think that it is an easy to get use to - software. It works for surface scanning and adapting the toolpath to this surface. But from my experience, It uses only...
Hi my fellow CNC enthusiasts!
I am very happy to have a question, because I always get great Ideas from the people here in this forum!
So... It is been a while since I use autoleveller from...
Thanks to everyone for the advice. For now I will stay with the external potentiometer. It was the initial idea anyway. But I will start a brand new thread, just to tell the story of switching from...
I was trying to control it from the software, but I connected external frequency control. I was going to do it anyway, but I was trying to see if I can do it "the proper" way.
So I thing my problem...
Hi guys. I have no Idea why, but I cannot rise my Hz more than 50. My invertor is Delta 11kw.
Can any of you take a picture of the proper way to connect the spindle and what do I have to do in...
This looks very nice. I like it! I was just thinking, is the rotation of the spindle "head" the "A" axis or am I making some mistake?
Great thank you! I see that autoleveler is a great tool and it is very good integrated in UCCNC. I just wonder How will I make different toolpaths that need different tools? Maybe there is some...
The important note to be made here is that I need 4 axis support and 3d mapping with touch probe. I see on the videos that UCCNC supports up to six axis, but I dont seem to find good video example...
So it goes down to one last question.
For my four axis machine with uneven surface mapping capabilities, should I go with mach4 or with UCCNC?
What do you guys think?
Thank you for the printscreens. UCCNC look similar to mach3 and I am starting to like it very much.
So here is a simple question.
Lets say I decide to build the machine with a bit more money...
Ok. A brand new and interesting thing to try and get familiar with. At first sight the UI of UCCNC looks clean and very similar to what I am use to from mach3. Thank you for the reply.
I just need...
Hello to everybody! My name is Peter and I am an CNC enthusiast. I rebuilt chinese cnc machines, using only their body construction. The job that I do with those machines is milling and engraving...
