My original plan was to use arduino or raspberry pi to measure and display on a small LCD so that is probably what i will do, but just curious
Thanks Again

Hi
I am working on rebuilding a CNC mill and i am planning to reuse the servos that are installed.
The X and Y are both the same and the plate lists them as 146V DC and lists pulse amps?? not...
I am looking for a little advise. I bought a Falcon F1 that has been converted on Mach 3 some time in the past. It is currently running the following,

Hello!,
So i am starting VMC retrofit, the machine is from 1985 and currently has analog drivers and encoders and i am looking to switch them out to digital step drive setup to use Mach3 or UCCNC...
Yes, the DMC-4153 is made by Galil, and reading it, it does look like it is analog
I can always replace the encoders with a digital encoder and switch to a digital servo driver.....
Thanks
Mike
That is a good question, i dont know if it is analog or digital....
It looks like the previous owner did convert it to Mach 3, and right now it is running a DMC-4153 motion controller, i will have...
It is a 1985 Vulcan which is a re branded Kasahara Falcon K-1

I think i figured it out after posting this and i am going to test today, The motor is a reverse winding motor. the original mfg of the table ran the motor into a gearbox which reversed the rotation...

Hi,

Hi,
I am thinking about getting a 3D printer to make some parts for a project but i need them to be somewhat heat tolerant (about 110 - 120 deg C). at that temperature they can't soften or start to...
Yes that is a concern when it has the ability to pull 75A but i would guess that it would pull less then 10A at any given time so i think a heatsink and a fan (which you can also buy from these...
I saw a youtube video where a gentleman made a spindle out a motor from an RC Helicopter so i did a little research and if my math is right wow i just want to make sure i am not going crazy.
