Pick the solid that you want to keep first, then select the solid you want to remove. Right click. Select ok. Boolean operation should then execute.

you can go to utilities, extract edges, from solid. then select the solid and ok. this works for me. hope this helps you.

lathe verify not working in 3d. Once in verify, right click in window, go to properties, click on lathe, should change to 2d pic. should work from there.
