You are right.
I have used this board. It supports probing. DCM must be used as common ground. DCM is the ground of 24 volt power input. DCM and GND must not be shorted. I have another problem with this board....
congratulations . Good work. Which software drives this monster?
Hi,
I have a project to make a 80W laser table , I 've already ordered a 80 w chinese laser tube ( American mades are too expensive for a hobby project). I'm looking for a software to...
I'm novice about closed loop steppers but today I saw a manufacturer doing this. http://www.fastech.co.kr/English/Ezi-SERVO.html You may find interesting..

Yes it is a elipsoid . Can I mill it with 3D CNC router? By the way thanks for your interest .
Rceebuilder.
Dear guys I'm trying to design a new propeller with katia .I plan to mill it on my 3 axis CNC router but I have to do some exercise first .On the other hand I have not a 3D cam software . ...
Luckily I found a guy on ebay doing the same thing . please check

Is there any other brushless type spindles in the market ? I m using AEG 500 watts router . it is very compact and good looking and the mounting neck is cast aluminium. it is variable speed as...
Mcgyver , thanks for the info . Can you give more information? Is the diamond wheel dust hazardous or carbide dust?
It is diamond stone. I think there is diamond dust inside. It gives very fine finish . I grind hard metal bits with it.
This is my simple tool grinder . I can make engraving bits with it.

There are L shaped copper tubes which has 1.5 mm inside diameter on the left and right columns Wire ends are passed inside these tubes so the wire ends turn up . then the wire ends knotted to...
I have tried to mill some PCB . As you know PCB milling requires high accuracy . Also I tried to drill same 10 holes 20 times . It never missed a hole . I think accuracy is about +/ - 0,1-...
Proxxon uses normal DC supply but you should not use any capacitor in the circuit. I mean only transformer and bridge rectifier are enough.
murat..
Here are the photos of my cnc .
I applied it to my 40" x 20" router in x and y axis . The result is awesome . Particularly I liked gantry speed. Precision is enough for me. I will send some pictures soon.

yes it is a little bit hard compare to nichrome wire. I hanged about 5 kilos weight to tighten it.Here are the photos
I tried inconel wire .It is really nice .It doesn't change it's properties after heated up. I strongly recommend it for cutting wing cores .

Zoltan , Here is the 2 type of wire driven gantry project. Of course the wire will be plied type. The only problem is how to compansate drive shaft's lateral movement.
it works on some photocopy machines more than 10 years.
I was using 8 mm metric screw to drive the axis of my small router The speed was not so disturbing for a small distance The max jog speed was about 6 mm per sec .Then I built a new router with a 1...
Posix , at first sight I feel that it is more stable .it is also easy to use in X axis like this
Posix , 'Light load draw slide mechanism'
The first one is better. It is more stable in rotational loads.
Posix, idea is good but you should use milled roller instead using ready built (moulded) plastic rollers .Once I have tried it. these wardrobe parts are not pricise enough.
But the rails are too...
The more voltage causes to draw more amp. So the coils can be burned out if the rated voltage is exceed. You should use serial resistor.
thanks guys It seems my calculations are not so bad. What do you think about brush or brushless motors. I'm gonna choose brushless DC type as they don't need any maintenance . But I still don't know...
Gerry this is exactly what I want .According to my calculations a 500 watt DCbrushservo with 1.6 Nm @ 3000 rpm will be fit perfectly or 660 watt DC brushless servo can be used. What do you...
I used to use stepmotors for my designs so far but my new project requires servomotors . My new project will be a big router with the workable area of 3 m x 2 m and with the jogging speed of 1...
