That's no problem with me. LOL I thank you for the information and your link.

Thanks so much for that link tjb1. That really helped me figure it out. I guess it's always to be a little than short.
WOW, I thought sure someone could give me a quick answer to this question.
Can anyone explain to me how I go about measuring how much cable chain I will need for each axis? Thank in advance.
Thanks for the reply Gerry. My problem is I don't know where to even start when picking a series of chain. If you look at the pix there isn't really any where to even mount cable chain, so I know I...
I have searched high and low here in the forum and I'll be darn if I can find anything close to answering my question(s). I have a new table and it's so close to being finished but I don't know...
Ok, I've searched as far as I can and just can not find a simple schematic for building a 120 VAC input to 40 VDC 10 amp power supply. Also a parts list and supplier would be really nice. Thanks...
How would you go about mounting it? Next thing I need to find is 4 wire motor connection wire.
Thanks for pointing this out to me. A lot cheaper than cable chain.
Thanks again. I guess my best bet is the company itself.
First, thanks for the reply. Then, can you tell me what size the chain is?
I'll take some photos and start a thread and maybe you can give me some advice there on the zero questions.
Cool and thanks. I guess I missed that.
Just found this thread and read through it all. I would like to know where you got the cable chain. Everything I find is so big when you consider you're only running 1 to 3 cables through it.

I know this is an old post but I just found it and was wondering if you would mind sharing the files that you cut these out with? Thanks
I know this is an old post but let me tell you, you saved my behind by posting this way back when. You are the first poster that actually had the correct wire colors. Even Keling's data file was...
I have a quick question. Since I want to mount a true 90 degree set of rails on my cutting surface, if I made that out of some aluminum angle 1" x 1" x X and Y limits, would it make since to connect...
I am looking for a source for the slotted bed material. It can be either a wood or aluminum product. I just want to be able to use adjustable hold downs that slide at least in one direction. ...
I'm interested in this as well.
I am really interested in doing a couple of 3D scans but your link isn't working. I've got a good web cam and the horizontal laser. Just need to how to get started and then go from scan to machined.
Thanks Rock for that information. It's not in my immediate future but is something I’d like to have within a year. I would like to buy one of those gear drive units for another project I have...
Nice work and table. Will it be heavy enough for the rapid movements? What do you figure the total table will cost, less the plasma cutter? Will be be using a straight plasma torch head?
I'd...
The white and the black wire switch is easy enough. The reason I don't have out going power is because the motor this thing will drive, is over in storage. I need to go get it today and try this...
Well I finally found the time to re-wire the power supply. I took it back to what I think is the factory original. Let me know if you see something wrong.
The gearing is about 4:1 which is giving roughly 5k RPM at the tool.
100Vdc motor and HP is unknown at this time.
This is 120 VAC. I think the Pot is connected correctly, now. I'll strip out all the other wires and take some photos and get back to you. I sure would like to get this thing working as it will be...
I added some photos of what my wiring looks like. Maybe those will help. Thanks for your replies.
It may be for someone who is electronic oriented but not for me. Someone had re-wired the controller I have and none of the wires are where they appear in the photo. Maybe I can try to trace back...
I've seen this but there's a lot left out of the schematic as to the wiring traces.
