Thank you. I did a bunch of searches and the newest results were from 2018.
Anyway, I just did as I said and deleted updates in blocks of 4 and the last set did the trick. Now though my settings...
Hi all.
I have been running Mach 3 (fully licensed) for about 2 years or so on a 20 year old Pentium 4, 2GHz Windows XP, 8GB DDR 333GHZ system with an ATI Rage 256MB graphic card. It has it's...
Issue fixed thanks to MARV in the Mach forum. It was a hardware issue. Loose pulley wheel set screws.
This was it, thank you!!
I found the offending set screw immediately. None of the others were loose......well it’s hard to be loose when you’re missing but the pulleys were solid on the shafts. I...
It's worth a shot! I'll try it in the morning and report back.
So, my burn table has just decided to start not cutting circles correctly and I can’t figure out why.
It looks like it’s getting about half way around the cut then adding kurf?? It’s not that...

I currently have nothing but a hand torch for my plasma machine. I was wondering if it was going to be worth my while buying the machine torch. From what you have shown me, at this point it is not...
So the short answer is ‘no’.
I just got this table running. I’m not about to pull
It all apart again to upgrade it. This is a ‘proof of concept’ type of thing. I got this table fairly cheap.

Hi all. My burn table is controlled by the dreaded blue TB6560AHQ, which as of now has given me zero trouble.
Anyway, my questions are;
I have a Thermal Dynamics A120 plasma cutter and am...
Did this today. Apparently 066 isn’t available any more. 062 is the one that Newfangled Solutions has as its main download. Works a treat. I set a restore point on my computer, made a backup of my...
Sheetcam has a very comprehensive list of post processors. You can download that for free and take a look. My copy is on my work computer so I can’t look myself until tomorrow.
My apologies, I stand well and truly corrected. When
I looked at the properties if the installer it said 066 but I just installed it and it says 062.
I am also happy to report that it works. I...
ger21 version 066 is the version that is on Newfangled Solutions website when you click 'download Mach3'. It is still there as I got it yesterday just to check. I am using windows XP so, hopefully,...
I did do this before even putting power to my machine when I first set it up. What I didn't do was to check that there was actually wire between the connections by lightly tugging on them. So all the...
I’m running version 3.043.044 ( I think that’s right ) and I have the latest / last version on a thumb drive.
I just, finally, got this whole thing running pretty good. The only thing is that...
Why not try going to ‘ports and pins’ and then ‘inputs’ then use the auto detect option to see if Mach3 can set up your stops. It will ask you to trigger each limit/ home switch you want it to find....
It seemed to work ok at first. But it had a habit of getting your hopes up then glitching. Sheetcam is now doing exactly what I need it to AND has nesting built in.
I can’t upgrade to Mach4 on the...
So I'll answer my own question and say that SheetCam is the answer. It just works! And it works on my older machine just fine too.
I had Qcad, SheetCam and Mach3 open with no issue. Though if you...
Hi everyone.
I'm using Mach3 and Lazycam. I just made the 'mistake' of updating Lazycam to the newest beta release but my settings were not carried over and it's screwed things up for me again.

So I came across another loosed connection as my home switches suddenly stopped working. The ground cable had come loose.
I thought I had things under control. I had cut a few small test pieces...
Hi all.
Just been having issues with my x steppers moving randomly in different directions. After checking a load of other things it could have been, thanks to this thread I went through all of...
Well I kept playing with various setting as suggested by users in the stepper motors section of this forum and continued to search for others with the same or similar issue.
The fault that seamed...
Sorry. Forgot to add pics
Thank you everyone for your help. I went through a lot of things and a lot of different posts. The main variable that kept coming up was that there must be a bad connection somewhere.
I had...
I measured for voltage across the direction pins, which I’m assuming are the white/blue and white/green as the other two are red and black, and it doesn’t matter which way the stepper is turning,...
The driver board is being run by the parallel port but the power is supplied by a 24v transformer.
I had checked many of the connections before starting out on this little adventure, including...
Ok, I’m going to try something on Monday. Someone let me know if you think this will solve my issue.
The old TB6560 board I was using only had a max of 2.5amp per controller so the second X...
Hi everyone.
I’ve been on the ’How I fixed my Chinese TB6560 controller’ thread in CNC electronics, as I purchased a machine with this board in it. The board was toast so I fitted the newest AHQ...
