Ok so if i import into autocad as splines, can i convert all the splines into polylines and then save into R12. Do you know an easy way of doing that?

How do i find out if they are splines?

I got it sorted out a little, now when i import a R12 file from either acad07 or autosketch the lines have been broken into thousands of little segments. Anyone have this problem?

Ah ha it worked. now when it asks me for the second point can i enter 0,0 as the coordinates that i want it to move to?

when i choose a base point location it tells me it is invalid. I there a certain way if choosing the base point?
