the angle iron will be 16" long and there will be two set of bearing on both ends. the bearing will be set at 3" apart on the "x" the "y" will be 10" long and have one set of bearing on each end

i'm going to drill and tap the 1/2" bar stock for set screws to make adjustment easier. set screw on each side of the 1/2"x 1" cold roll steel for adjustment.

i was woulding if i can use the v-bearing to drive the machine like a rack and pinion
