I ended up putting a Criterion boring head on a Tormach arbor and have been happy with it.

You can't really see the pallet damage in this pic, but you can see how the container is angled on the pallet. I think the pallet may have been left over from the Japanese occupation.

My 440 came like that. The container was at an angle, and some of the boards on the pallet were broken.

That sucks - it's starting to look like my old Bridgeport. I'm liking the fixture plates, and I love Jim's MDF solution for things that don't require closer tolerances.
I haven't had much luck getting hand stamp companies to reply. Does anyone have any recommendations for a company who can make the stamp?
