The automatic self-centering vise designed for 5-axis efficiency

Specifically designed for 5-axis machining centers, the GripMatic line by Gerardi enables precise machining on five faces of the workpiece, even in tight spaces. Like all vises in the Multitasking series, the GripMatic models have been engineered to ensure maximum rigidity and minimal tolerances during complex operations.

Thanks to a double-acting piston system, clamping is carried out fully automatically via hydraulic or pneumatic drive, streamlining the entire process. Its modular structure allows it to be used on different types of machine tools, while full integration with the CNC enables complete automation of operations, significantly boosting shop productivity.

Superior clamping performance

The pneumatic version of the GripMatic vise delivers superior clamping performance compared to traditional pneumatic systems, thanks to the use of integrated die springs. This feature enhances operational safety by preventing accidental workpiece release in the event of pressure loss, thus protecting both personnel and equipment.

Constructed from high-quality materials and finished with precision, the GripMatic ensures durability and reliability even under tough working conditions. Its dimensional stability and high wear resistance allow the vise to maintain consistent performance over time.

·        Automatic plate: An interface system for direct air connection through the machine table, with control fully managed by the CNC. The plate can be custom-designed based on the characteristics of the machine tool.

·        Semi-automatic plate: Allows air connection via quick coupling, with manual clamping management through a selector switch.
