For the perfect cut - edge honing of cutting tools

The René Gerber AG brush polishing machines enable the processing of cutting tools made from hard materials such as PCD, ceramics and hard metal. The new generation of diamond brushes provides high precision when preparing cutting edges of tools and also permits simpler implementation of automation solutions. The perfect cut is guaranteed with these prerequisites!

 

Processing of hard metal tools can be undertaken on different machines appropriate to the task formulation.

 

The robust BP-MX brushes off sharp edges and burrs, brushes precisely defined radii or contours on edges and at the same time polishes the surface to the finest finish.

 

The distinguishing features of the high-performance BS Power are the regular deburring, honing and polishing of the contours in a continuous process. An optimal turning station enables processing on both sides, which is employed particularly for large quantities.

 

The economical BS Eco offers the most efficient brush polishing for one-sided processing of workpieces in the smallest of space.

 

If innovation meets the technical pulse of the time and a product has been on the market for years, then this may be considered a success. The established BP-MX is used for edge and cutting preparation and can be designated as a robust and tried and tested installation.

 Task formulation: Edge honing R=0.010 1/- 0.0025 mm

 Brushes: Diaflex, diamond-studded

 Workpiece handling: Bench for workpiece carrier Ø120, for 36 workpieces / carrier

Processing time: 6 minutes

Output: 576 pieces / hour at 80% productivity
