Description

With 18 pallets à 500 x 500 mm, 700 mm pitch circle and 470 kg transfer weight, the MARATHON SR518 multi-pallet storage system is designed for handling large, heavy individual parts as repeat parts or small to medium series. Together with the powerful 5-axis ACURA 85 machining center, the optional 50 kW spindle and a 344-cavity STANDBY tool magazine, the result is a perfectly coordinated team for maximum productivity. From the 360° rotatable storage/retrieval station, the operator has a view of the machine's work area at all times. The work area remains fully accessible from the front for process control and the running-in of new workpieces.
