Hello,

I am still a student and i have struggled to find a short on my lathe that used the driver XMT 1000 (same as the SX3 mill). I isolated the short to the power board bord by blowing a couple fuses while isolating electrical parts of the machine.
Now, i don't have much of knowledge on how to find the short in these bords. However, this feels like a good opportunity to learn as 1) I cannot afford a new board and without it my lathe is just a chunk of cast iron 2) i have access to basic equipment to change components in there.

If anyone could help and guide me to finding the faulty component(s) in there, it woul be great. I will attach the electrical scheme of the board that i took from a post on CNC zone.
