We have further expanded the KIPP UNILOCK series in the field of pneumatic zero point clamping technology. We now offer you even more options for quick and precise clamping and referencing of workpieces, fixtures and pallets on metal-cutting machining centres with three new clamping modules. The new clamping elements enable a changeover in seconds with a defined reference point and a repeat accuracy of less than 0.005 mm.
The newest in detail:
- KIPP UNILOCK clamping module ASM 99: The add-on clamping module is ideal for narrow gauge dimensions. The installation height is 56 mm, it is also possible to embed the clamping module completely into a fixture plate or the machine table. The slider "open" position can be monitored using the integrated feedback function.
- KIPP UNILOCK automation clamping module ESA 138: Thanks to the integrated feedback functions for the "open" or "closed" clamping slide position, this module fulfils all process reliability requirements in automated clamping fixtures. Four offset support surfaces with air system control ensure that the fixture is correctly positioned before the manufacturing process begins.
- KIPP UNILOCK clamping module EGM 110-75 with pallet coupler: This clamping module was specially developed for use in robot automation systems. The pallet coupler serves as the interface between the clamping pallet and the clamping module. The integrated feedback function can be used to check if the clamping slide position is "open" or "closed" and ensure that the clamping module and the pallet coupler are in the correct position.
- Compensation and dovetail clamping bolts. Also new to the range, these two components optimise the clamping and positioning of workpieces and fixtures. The compensation clamping bolt enables a gauge size compensation of ± 1 mm in one or all directions. The dovetail clamping bolt is fastened without thread, with the dovetail in a short clamping edge on the workpiece.
