\r\n It kind of says in the error message what you need to do...
\nThe file dmrc in the user\'s home directory has the wrong permissions.
\nWhat you need to do, is get to a command line (can\'t remember how to do that, but search this hexagon-software/forum), cd to /home/operator (I think that is the correct user) and do chmod 644 dmrc\r\n

No, I click OK and pathpilot start normally. My problem is I know nothing about linux. I try for quite some time to send my program to the lathe controller in the GCODE folder, but I can\'t.
\n
\nI can see the other computers on the network, but not the pathpilot controller. They all share the same SSID.\r\n

Seems samba (the service which lets Linux PCs show up in Windows network) isn\'t set up or running. Should be in the user manual how to set it up. I\'m not near my machine, or even at home, so I can\'t check out how to do it.\r\n

\r\n sometimes it is easier to set up the FAT32 formatted partition on Windows PC and share it on the network for Linux. Windows advices and docomentation are much more better than Linux jungle.\r\n

The controller is from Tormach. It is at least 5 or 6 years old.
\n
\nFrom the terminal on Tormach controller, if I ping my programming computer, I can see it. It also works from my programming computer to the Tormach controller. I\'ve installed an Ethernet switch and every computer is now connected with Cat6 cable.
