Compiling the smc software is very easy. Download AVR Studio, load the source file and click compile. It will result 2 files. The hex file and an ".eep" file. both files should be uploaded to the attyny2313. The hex is the program itself and the eep contains the initial servo parameters(I think). Use ponyprog to upload the files to the chip. Take good care when setting the fuse bits. You may "brick" the chip if using wrong settings here. You will find in the picture how the fuse bits must be set for the elm servo to work.

    hello All
    thankful for answer.
I compiled source file with AVR Studio (smc.zip)Please turn 2 attached file . but this hex file its good for lpt port input.I used attyny2313 and l298 for
drive 3Amp servo motor with sharp encoder. i have problem with RS232 input (PIN 2&3 txd and rxd of attyny2313) do it might be possible defective source file .? can you test this file (smc2).?
    Best regards.

Sorry but I do not have anymore a smc board to test your files. However check the following:
Cable connections (misleading of tx and rx)
SYSCLK in the source file (must be the same with the crystal)
Fusebits settings (if not setting CKDIV8 i think, the chip will use it's own clock generator instead of the crystal)
Settings of the HyperTerminal connection (38.4k bps, databits 8, parity none, stopbits 1)
    Best regards

Not sure what 1 and 0 means (set ur unset)...
Look at the picture with Fuse settings previously atached...
When you read the fusebits form a fresh chip the ckdiv8 is checked. I had to uncheck it... At least with ponyprog...

I have test the ELM servo controller using SMC3 source, the control circuit using ELM and the FET use UHU and it work! The only problem I facing are tunning the servo parameter.
    The chip I using are 74HC14, IR2184*2,IRF540*4,2313.
Anyone can help to tune the correct servo parameter?

    Hello

    Check this out.

It seems somebody has developed a pcb for ELM controller

Take a look at the schematic - you might have a few issues with your FETs running that circuit.
