The CUTEX-180 is a powerful and reliable latest generation CNC lathe and your 1st choice for your manufacturing needs. With wide linear roller guides and a compact design, it offers high metal removal rates in a small footprint. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to work with and contributes to higher productivity.

As a cost-effective entry-level model, the universal lathe enables economical production with consistent and high accuracy. With the optional Y-axis and counter spindle, you can expand the application possibilities of the CUTEX-180 and achieve even more precise results. The Siemens 828D or Fanuc 0i CNC controls offer you maximum flexibility and convenience, even for shop floor programming.

The rigid Meehanite cast bed and the 12-position turret with BMT55 interface and 24 indexable stations make the CNC lathe durable and stable. The high accuracy grade and low heat run ensure precise and reliable results in any application.

The Hi-TECH 230 owes its particularly reliable machining performance to its exceptional rigidity and improved specifications in comparison with other 8 to 10 inch lathes with box guideways. In addition to this, it is also particularly easy to operate and to service. The model with the Y axis has a traverse path of up to ±60 mm – the largest in its class.

Big jobs, small footprint

The Hi-TECH 450 is a highlight of Hwacheon technology. Where space is limited, the Hi-TECH 450 provides the highest turning diameter and turning length of today’s medium-sized lathes. A large number of options, such as a Y axis, sub spindle, steady rest carriage and much more, provide a high level of flexibility in the configuration of your machine. The machine can be precisely customised with the accessories you need for your production.

Box guideways

All guideways are cast, hardened, and precision ground. This guarantees a long working life, stability, and precision, even in the case of long operating and machining times.

Horizontal turning centre ideally suited to large and hard workpieces: With the Hi-TECH 850 you will be able to master demanding machining tasks which require milling and turning operations. The large and stable tool turret and the monolithic machine bed with box guideways are designed for machining large workpieces.

Large-scale high performance turning centre
The machine bed, which is slanted at 45°, ensures optimal swarf removal and thus reduced heat input. For a maximum degree of stability and precision, all linear axes are provided with box guideways. Due to the main spindle’s transmission gearbox, the Hi-TECH 850 also provides a very high torque at lower speeds. High-power machining is equally possible at higher speeds. The optional Y axis allows you to deal with particularly complex workpiece geometries.

Optionally, the Hi-TECH 850 can also be fitted with a steady rest for the optimal machining of long and heavy workpieces.

Spindle with upstream drive
The four-speed transmission on the main spindle provides an enormous torque, especially at lower speeds. The lubrication and cooling of the bearing is carried out by means of Hwacheon’s unique oil cooling system. The temperature of the drive is regulated continuously in order to minimise heat expansion, increasing precision over longer machining times and heavy duty cutting tasks.

The user-friendly design of the Hi-TECH-850 is comfortable to work with, meaning that you can concentrate on what matters: producing high quality products whilst not wasting any time with laborious handling, and doing so under conditions of maximum workplace safety. Wide turret (optional)
A wider version of the Hi-TECH 850 turret can also be ordered. This has 12 stations, each of which has two tool holders, one behind the other. This means that long tools can be held in two holders, which has a positive impact on the cutting process in terms of stability and rigidity.
