Description
Machine tool for belt grinding and polishing of turbine blades 6 interpolating axis guarantee a perfect positioning of the contact wheel to the airfoil surface. An additional auto-adaptive pneumatic axis ensures constant grinding pressure. This allows the processing of complex blade and aerofoil geometries and thus a reduction of milling processes and elimination of manual grinding operations. IMMs technology to CNC polish compressor blades and vanes to optimize flow efficiency and minimize differences due to tolerances in blade geometry, which is essential to the balancing of the compressor rotor and the fit of the stator parts. Our CNC-Machines type SPE and MTS allows automatic polishing of all rows of the Gas Turbine Compressor, as well as Steam Turbine Blades. This allows our customers in Japan to increase annual production output and speed up the manufacturing process of blades.
