Spanflug will showcase the latest version of their quoting software Spanflug MAKE during EMO 2025 at booth A47 in hall 6. The solution enables CNC machine shops to calculate manufacturing costs and times for turning and milling parts faster and create quotes more efficiently, and is evolving towards a “Machining Intelligence”, that supports work preparation and manufacturing strategy optimization.

Since March 2025 Lucas Giering is part of the management team at Spanflug Technologies GmbH alongside Adrian Lewis and Markus Westermeier. As Chief Product Officer (CPO), he is responsible for product development, aligning it with the needs of customers and strategically driving the further development of the platform.

The CERATIZIT Group has a minority interest in the Spanflug Technologies GmbH. This was announced by both companies. The strategic investment is intended to promote synergies in product development, sales and internationalisation. This underlines the strong commitment of both companies to making the manufacturing industry fit for the future through digitalisation and automation.

In Spanflug MAKE machine shops can now include custom, near-net-shape stock geometries in the automated quote calculation. This means that users can now also calculate manufacturing times and costs for preforms that are manufactured using other processes, such as casting, injection molding, 3D printing and laser cutting, and are then further machined by turning and milling.
