Description

The telemetric measuring system (TMS) is suitable for single-channel piezoelectric measurements in various industrial measurement and process monitoring applications on moving structures such as tool turrets, multi-spindle machines, robots, or assembly lines. Piezoelectric sensors generate an electrical charge that changes in direct proportion to the load acting on the sensor. The compact charge amplifier module (Type 5190A) enables conversion of the charge signal directly at the sensor.

The wireless interface between the charge amplifier module and the base unit allows measurement data to be transmitted wirelessly—especially in applications with moving components and defined operating positions—while also ensuring the power supply to the charge amplifier module.
