Kraffter Machine Tools® SAS is a young, agile and dynamic company, specialised in the trading, purchase, reconditioning and resale of used machine tools worldwide.

Located near Lyon in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes since 2016, on a strategic axis between Switzerland, Germany and Italy, we benefit from an international expertise with a network of quality customers and suppliers combining a high very high standard of technical competence.

We buy and sell all types of CNC and conventional machine tools for precision mechanics: machining centres, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinding machines, sliding headstock lathes, sharpening machines, universal tool grinders, milling machines, drilling machines, bandsaws, etc…

Our 1100 m2 facility, located on a 4500 m² enclosed site, includes a repair and reconditioning workshop, as well as a storage and exhibition area.

A controlled import-export process
With a turnover of 80% generated from exports, we perfectly master the entire import-export chain of used machine tools for precision mechanics and sheet metal work:

Preliminary survey of the machine to be purchased, with an on-site visit if necessary
Technical diagnosis of the parts to be repaired and/or replaced
Cleaning, reconditioning and, depending on the case, repair
Logistics including storage, packaging and transport of the machines purchased and sold
Administrative formalities and customs operations for import and export
The commercial and technical team is bilingual in English, ready to reply to all your queries no matter your country of origin : China, India, USA, Europe or elsewhere.


Service, overhaul, reconditioning… in house
Our fully equipped workshop allows us to handle most mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic refurbishment work in-house before sale. We can repair, recondition or manufacture new parts if required.

We work on machine tools of all sizes thanks to our specially adapted handling equipment, including a 20 ton overhead crane. Our machines in stock can be inspected at any time on our premises by appointment. They are of course visible under power for trial before departure.

Our team of technicians benefits from a high level of expertise. Kévin Lecront, CEO of Kraffter Machine Tools®, has a background in the design and manufacture of high-end motorcycle parts. He has been awarded the title of "best apprentice of France" (called « Meilleur Apprenti de France ») in the category of motorcycle mechanics by the French National Society of « Les Meilleurs Ouvriers de France » in 2011. He has been rewarded by 3 gold medals in the departmental, regional and national contests.

Permanent market monitoring
Our experience in the industrial market of machine tools and accessories (turning, milling, grinding, sawing, metrology, cutting, drilling, sheet metal working,) allows us to manage machine takeovers by unit or directly by batch.

We are also constantly looking for machine tools in very good condition, but also to be overhauled, defective or even to be completely rehauled.
