Leichtbau-Zentrum Sachsen GmbH (LZS) was founded in 2003 as part of the TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft (TUDAG) and is one of the leading development partners in the field of lightweight construction systems in Germany. For this purpose, LZS bundles the unique competencies in the Dresden area in terms of breadth and depth. The interdisciplinary development team of engineers and technicians combines excellent competences in the fields of aviation, automotive and vehicle construction as well as mechanical and plant engineering. The service portfolio ranges from design, material characterization, structure and process simulation, prototype production to process development and structural testing.
