    Question MORI SEIKI CL150 Z70 ABS. ILLEGAL

    I have this fault: Z70 ABS. ILLEGAL X
    this usually means that the encoder battery is low but no fault on the drive.
    I've replaced the battery just to be sure but i can not move the*X & Z axis (M01operation ERROR).Why are the X & Z axis locked? There is no fault on the drives and the error licht on the machine is not on.The turret drive is the only one that's working.

    found the answer
    Zero position set was set to invalid
    changed to valid and then the M01 error was gone
