Mitsubishi Electric to Expand Lineup of Transflective Series TFT-LCD Modules

Market-leading image quality and wide operating temperature range for outdoor and mobile uses

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced the coming launch of new Transflective Series 8.4-inch VGA and 10.4-inch XGA TFT-LCD modules for outdoor or mobile applications, including agricultural vehicles, marine GPS, mobile industrial PCs and more. Both feature top-quality images and operating temperature ranges of -30 to 80 degrees Celsius. Sample sales will begin May 31 through Mitsubishi Electric offices worldwide.

The modules will be exhibited during 20th Embedded Systems Expo (ESEC Spring) at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition complex from May 10 to 12.

Mitsubishi Electric expects its new transflective modules to meet increasing market demands for TFT-LCDs offering superior visibility outdoors, extended battery life and low heat radiation for versatile applications.
