The IM-8 sets a new benchmark in high-speed, 5-axis machining with its patented inverted design and a powerful single spindle delivering up to 200 hp (150 kW) from below. Built for industries that demand high volume, fast lead times, and complex geometries, this machine combines extreme rigidity with exceptional precision.

The IM-8 offers unmatched stability, allowing for high-precision machining even under the most demanding conditions. The inverted design ensures superior chip evacuation, reducing coolant usage while leveraging gravity to remove chips quickly and cleanly from the workpiece and working area.

The 31" (800 mm) trunnion table accommodates parts up to 28" (700 mm) in height, with a maximum interference diameter of 47" (1,200 mm), making it ideal for a wide range of complex applications. Designed for space-efficient manufacturing, the IM-8 can be installed side-by-side with other machines to maximize floor space.

Featuring rear-positioned chip conveyors for easy chip handling and flexible material loading options—including front manual access, pallet systems, and overhead loading—the IM-8 is built for high-throughput production. Full system integration options are available, including robotic and palletized automation, to take your productivity to the next level.
