Pi1511 is a high-volume PVD coating unit. It combines three rotating PLAITT LARC-XL cathodes positioned in the door with two planar ARC cathodes as boosters in the back of the chamber. The combination of flexible rotating cathodes with the high performing planar boosters allows the deposition of the PLATIT standard coatings in the familiar flexibility, combined with the high performance required for big volumes.
