Pi111 PLUS is a small volume PVD coating unit with a fast cycle time. Because of its size, speed, and user-friendliness, it is also suitable as an entry-level product into the coating world. Having two PLATIT rotating cathodes utilizing ARC technology, it deposits all PLATIT standard coatings on a reproducibly high level of quality. The Pi111 PLUS unit is the centerpiece of a turnkey coating system for SMEs.

Pi1511 is a high-volume PVD coating unit. It combines three rotating PLAITT LARC-XL cathodes positioned in the door with two planar ARC cathodes as boosters in the back of the chamber. The combination of flexible rotating cathodes with the high performing planar boosters allows the deposition of the PLATIT standard coatings in the familiar flexibility, combined with the high performance required for big volumes.

Due to its modular design and the available mix of technologies, Pi411 PLUS is the world?s most flexible coating unit. Its basic configuration as an ARC unit with three rotating cathodes in the door, can be modularly upgraded on-site with an ARC or sputtering central cathode as well as with DLC2 and OXI processes. Also unique to the Pi411 PLUS is the availability of the LACS® hybrid technology, which allows the simultaneous deposition of coatings using both ARC and sputter technology. The broad variety of configuration possibilities in the Pi411 PLUS as well as the flexibility made possible by the rotating cathode, enables the development of customer-specific coatings with the highest performance level. Pi411-PLUS addresses those customers who are not willing to accept any compromises regarding technology and are seeking maximum flexibility.

PL711 is a compact coating unit with a PA3D module that generates a high plasma focus in the carousel. It is equipped with two planar HiPIMS cathodes. Selected nitride coatings as well as carbon-based coatings (WC/C, DLC2and DLC3) are available in a highly productive process. Coatings from the PL711 provide outstandingly smooth surfaces with high density, hardness, and excellent adhesion.
