Description

The ROTTLER DBR bar turning machine was developed for processing round aluminum bars that are used as feed material for aluminum extrusion presses. The DBR 700/2000 works fully automatically in a throughfeed process and can be integrated into a production line. A special feature of the machine is the overhead bed. The DSR series, which is also available, is used for processing steel ingots. When developing these machines, the top priorities were surface finish and cycle time. The machine is therefore equipped with up to four turning tools.
