The MiJET automatic cell enables easy integration of the cleaning station into a robotic solution and automated cleaning of workpieces. An electrical connection is not required. Only a compressed air connection is required to use the device. Application The actual task of the MiJET is to filter oily air. Chips of the work pieces accumulate in the container. Operators often tend to blow off finished workpieces into the machine. This quickly results in dirty working environments and poor air in the production hall. However, we avoid this by exhausting these fumes. Oils are trapped from the exhaust air and chips and coolants accumulate in the container. Functionality The MiJET automatic cell enables easy integration of the cleaning station into a robotic solution and automated cleaning of workpieces. A pneumatic motor drives a rotor. This develops a suction that draws in the vapors produced. Installed in a robotic application, the robot grips the workpiece. It then moves into the opening of the MiJET. Controlled by a PLC, compressed air is now blown over a ring. This cleans the workpiece and the oils contained in the steam filter through the filter. Chips, cooling liquids and lubricants accumulate in the container. These are simply poured back into the machining area of the machine for recycling. As an option, it is possible to install an activated carbon filter around the oil mist filter. This allows additional aerosols from cleaning agents to be filtered out of the exhaust air. Scope of delivery The automatic cell of the MiJET is supplied with a customer-specific opening. Here, this is machined in advance to the workpiece to guarantee the best possible air flow. In addition, the cleaning system includes a trolley. This allows the MiJET to be moved from machine to machine in a mobile manner. MiJET products can be purchased through our Shop.
