does anyone know if you are supposed to be able to view the part in ez-sps? it has been years since i messed with it and just built a virtual box to try it on again and i can't view the part.
Thanks,
I fixed one of mine and sent 2 for repair. The ones i sent out was only $465 to fix so not bad
I'm trying to get a mr-j2s-40a servo amp to move the motor with no luck. i have read every scrap of information i can find but no luck. one strange thing is i can not get servo on or the end of...
Jon is correct it is a run time counter for the display. Tektronix also uses those on the o-scopes and spectrum analyzers for service purposes.
you would probably be better off starting a new thread on the subject then hijacking this one
EZ-SPS is not a post file for mastercam. it is the standalone program for the ez-trak. you can make parts in it with the conversational g-code but as far as i know it won't work with mastercam.
I haven't tried to communicate via serial port yet but i will try and look in the manual for a diagram or any info later today or tomorrow. I have been to busy diagraming and learning the functions...
another option is buy a disk on a module from ebay and load the software your self. you can get 512mb and 1 gig modules pretty cheap. that's what i'm doing for my second mill and a backup drive.
yes the drivers supply it. driver panasonic model MSDA083A1A51 MOTOR PANASONIC MSMA082A1E they have 2.4nm of cont. torque. one thing on dc servos is the brushes. i have 2 ez-trak mills with...
not sure if they would work for ya but i have a set of 3 new panasonic servo motors and drivers. the drivers are 208-230 3 phase and the motors are 116v 3 phase with 2500ppr encoders. they are 750...

i have a ez-trak sx series 1 that the encoder has failed on a cleveland machine controls motor. the encoder itself is also made by cmc model 2DM0250P-05L50AS1. any recomendations on a replacement?...
what size have you decided on? and ac or dc?
have you bought the servos yet?
that sounds like a good plan. when i took my ez-trak's apart to move them in i did the same. took the screws off complete with nuts installed. y axis you have to be really careful with on a ez-trak....
most of the time if you remove the ballnut from the ballscrew it not pretty and is costly. but yours may be different i would ask someone who knew before i risked it.
Techbuilder. have you decided on whether you want to buy a kit or build it all? and have you decided on servo motors or steppers?
does anyone have any suggestion for a cad/cam program that is compatable with the bridgeport EZ-TRAK program? right now i'm just using the onboard program and ez-sps program to write the files. I...
i have a few panasonic 750 watt 2.4nm cont. torque motors and matching 208-230 3 phase drivers. would these be sufficent for a retrofit of say a ez-trak or interact machine?
good deal. it would be worth a shot. if you want go ahead and get them i will change them out for you gladly and we can see if it will fix your problem
looks like plccenter might have bought them lol. they will sell the parts to you. like 74.50 for the processor and 42 something for the coprocessor didn't check the rest
looks like digikey is sold out of the processor and co processor. the numbers and qty's are 1 of MC68EC030FE40C, 1 of MC68882FN25A, 4 of HCT245A, 2 of ADM5180JP, and the 4 ram chips i have...

ok that is basically the same as the first card i had repaired. i have a list of what all they changed if you know anyone near by that can change surface mount parts out. never know it may fix it...
i should know by around the 20th. i'm bidding on a complete machine and believe i can get the card also since it is the last machine they have that requires it. but will keep you in mind. did you...
