The 14th video of the series "SINUMERIK live" deals with the milling of free-form surfaces with a 3-axis milling machine.
The basic types of freeform surface machining, the generation and handling of data sets, and the SINUMERIK functions for machining these freeform surfaces are presented.
We will then demonstrate the production of the injection mold for a very everyday object - a toothbrush - on a 3-axis milling machine.
