Software Factory - who we are

Software Factory develops individually customized and best fitting high-performance software solutions and products for large-scale enterprises and upscale medium-sized businesses. Our customers are well-known companies from the automotive, engineering and other industry sectors as well as from the public sector. Companies such as BMW, Bosch, Siemens, TRW Airbag Systems, TÜV and many others trust in our unique software solutions and our outstanding, best-in-class quality. With our excellent reputation and long-term customer relationships, we are in the position to contribute significantly to our customers’ success, at the same time securing the success of our company. Our development teams are located in Garching near Munich. We act globally and possess proven experience in international development projects.

We actively cultivate contacts to universities, cooperate closely in research projects and support the education of students by offering internships and diploma theses. In 1992, Software Factory was founded by employees of the “Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb)” of the Technical University Munich. We have more than 20 years of proven experience in the realization of challenging software projects and products.

Software Factory - What we do

In the area of development of company critical systems and components we design customized and optimally adjusted software solutions for all kinds of industries. In the engineering industry, these are for example control systems for assembly lines with statistical process control SPC, the registration of company data, product and process documentation for backtracking as well as the development of communication modules for various SPS controls. Other key areas are maintenance, plant documentation and controlling. Regarding the development of PTC® products we offer customer specific project solutions, add-on products and interfaces for the engineering system Pro/ENGINEER® and the PLM system Windchill PDMLink™ by PTC. In the area of IT operation we ensure at our customers that the company-critical, highly available IT platforms and applications always run very smoothly. For achieving this we are even ready to be available 24/7. Our service ranges from system analysis and system design to operation and support.
