I have an Arrow 500 - ERM - and I am in need of the cable that connects the reader head on the X axis scale to the electrical cabinet - part# 01273815-a-001 cable / wire #754

Anyone have a spare or parting out a machine and willing to sell it?

Have you checked if it's a standard heidenhain item? Or do they have different connector at the control end?

I won't have a chance to look up that p/n for a while to confirm which cable you have, but I have replaced a number of the heidenhain cables on Arrows and Sabres.

This cable flexes in the cable track so I wouldn't spend my time installing a used cable if I were you. Too much hassle to end up having to do it again if the used one is damaged (or brittle from age). Plus a new cable isn't that expensive. The price varies a bit based on length, but even the cable for an Arrow 2000 (the longest one I've ever had to replace) was less than $200 the last time I bought one.

Cincinnati did sell an "updated" scale that had a different connector (or needed an adapter cable) though so would need to confirm what connector is on your machine. Send me a PM with your info if you want me to get current pricing for you.
