    Another issue

    Hi all,

I have another issue with Fryer ET-30BB Lathe with a Siemens control (with Shopturn 7.50.18.00). Parameters are the same as a 840D control.

It has to do with the spindle stop button. The spindle stop button only stops the spindle normally when in manual mode (it will deactivate M03 and M04). As soon as the spindle turns from MDI or AUTO mode, the spindle only stops when the button is being pressed and held, because as can be seen from the led of the M03 and M04 buttons, the spindle stop does not reset those signals. As soon as the spindle stop button is released, the spindle rotation resumes.

Right now the only way to stop the spindle normally in MDI and AUTO modes is to press the reset button.

I need to find a way to either change the PLC program for it to reset the M03 and M04 signals upon spindle stop signal activation or any other solution to solve this issue.

    Thanks!

As a note, I was sent another PLC program to solve this issue.

    Cheers.

Definitely your problem was in the PLC program as it blocks the cnc THROUGH communicates with the PLC and the signals on and off ... activava in this case the signal to start the engine with the turn indicated .... for future situations creates a backup of the whole cnc
