Question CREATING NEW PARTS IN ASSEMBLY

Hello guys I was wandering if it is possible to create new parts in an assembly using templates, so far when i create a new part inside an assembly it will always come up as default, you know XY as front plane which is confusing . But the thing is i have become accustomed to use my template for new parts which has the XY plane as top plane (I could not get used to work with XY as front plane), and others changes of configuration, now my problem is that when I am in an assembly and wanna create a new part(as you now is faster and more convenient then create it out side the assembly and then insert it into ) I would like it to come up under the template but i don't have idea how to change that parameter. thanks in advance for your help any input will be appreciated
    have a great day
