\r\n so, as a newbie, i need CAD to make parts like this. these are not 100% to correct size, but the scale is about right. in general, the outside dia is 1".

\ni am getting more familar w/ the tools as i muck around, etc. to be honest, the Camera tool (pic-to-file using ray trace w/ anti aliasing) is cool, i like this item, not sure if its the non-Pro version, forgot to check before i uninstalled 2d/3d trial and installed Pro.

\nalso, i need some help creating threads on round/tubular/solid parts, eg; the turbine looking thing needs 40tpi on it. i saw some older posts on other tdm/forums about creating a helix and then using that to cut the threads, but i need help with this.

    \r\n no, its used as a baffle. in essence, a fancy exhaust system. that spiral section gets covered w/ a flat disc, etc.\r\n
