hi

i have a haas tm1p with 10tool atc
the machine is leaking alot of air way more than normal from the top of the spindle unit, under the pully area. it leaks more air from the top than the bottom of the spindle unit, this is the air pure for spindle ,
this is not the tool air release blow air cleaning air leaking ..

so i assume there are some seals in side or are they o-rings that need replacing.

has any one done this on a tm1?
if so can any one share what the seal type , size etc is that is needed so i can order the seals ready?

haas was no use they just want to sell a new spindle unit only

Our 2009 TM1P was leaking air near the spindle. It used to blow soft air out to the bottom of the spindle normally but noticed a lot more air leaks. Took the cover off and found the airline had come off the spindle. Broken off belt pieces snapped off the airline from the spindle.
