The TDM - hyperMill interface supports an optimal CAM- and CAD-process by accessing the central database and transmitting tool data and graphics online. Functions: - Transferring all the necessary TDM-tools to the Open Mind-data-base - Selecting milling and drilling tools can be done quickly and easily in the TDM tool selection directly in the data base - Geometry data for the required tools are transmitted - Transmission of the tools of the NC program that are used from hyperMill back to TDM in the form of tool lists Benefits: - Time savings thanks to fast tool selection - Effective maintenance of data with online access to the central data base directly from the CAM process - Less effort to create the NC-program thanks to the familiar hyperMill environment
