THETA’s customized spindle platform is built for maximum adaptability in milling, grinding, and dressing systems—supporting both ATC (Automatic Tool Change) and MTC (Manual Tool Change) environments. These spindles are engineered to accommodate HSK-C40, C50, C63, and C80 interfaces, providing exceptional rigidity, precision, and repeatability under heavy load or ultra-high-speed conditions.
Built-in asynchronous or synchronous motors (Siemens, FANUC, HEIDENHAIN, etc.) deliver scalable performance up to ~120 kW continuous output and ~850 Nm continuous torque, with housing diameters up to 420 mm and overall lengths of ~2,000 mm. Designs are compatible with controllers from SIEMENS, FANUC, HEIDENHAIN, MITSUBISHI, and FAGOR.
Optional configurations include:
• Magnetic or hydrostatic bearings (for ATC or MTC)
• AE sensors, vibration/displacement sensors
• Closed-loop vector control
• Dynamic balancing systems
• CTS for ATC (70–140 bar up to 42,000 rpm)
• CTS for MTC (0.8–4 bar up to 120,000 rpm or 20–70 bar up to 60,000 rpm)
Whether for high-torque machining or ultra-precision grinding, THETA’s core spindle lineup is built to serve the world’s most demanding industrial needs.
