The machine achieves impressive cutting speeds of over 1.6 mm/min with a material thickness of 1.6 mm. Thanks to the precise laser technology, the cutting edges of PCD tools are free of chipping and cracks. The machine enables the machining of chip breakers in any 3D geometry, which significantly increases flexibility and application diversity.
The software used is GTR ProfDia Laser, a classic application that is identical to GTR ProfDia Erosion in terms of technological data, which has been widely used in wire erosion for decades and therefore offers GTR-experienced users an easy introduction to operating the new laser machine.
The basic operating system used is C.O.R.E., currently the most modern machine operating system on the market, which has been standard on all UNITED GRINDING Group machines for several years. All system applications such as calibration, warm-up, etc. are therefore also 100% pure C.O.R.E. applications.
