M70 MILLTURN: Precision at its finest
With the new M70 MILLTURN, WFL is expanding its successful MILLTURN series to include a high-performance, multifunctional turning-boring-milling machine for demanding complete machining operations. The machine has been specially developed for workpieces that demand the highest levels of precision, stability and productivity.
The M70 MILLTURN already attracted considerable interest at EMO Hannover and quickly became a crowd-puller at the WFL stand. The combination of state-of-the-art machine architecture, a generous working area and high machining performance impressed visitors from a wide range of industrial sectors.
The M70 MILLTURN enables working lengths of up to 8,000 mm and swivel diameters of up to 850 mm, thus offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications. Thanks to its modular design, the machine can be individually tailored to customer requirements and optimally integrated into existing production environments.
Emphasis was placed on stability and process reliability. Optimised geometric ratios, high-performance spindle drives and high feed forces at the tool interface ensure precise machining results, even for demanding cutting tasks. At the same time, the well-thought-out machine design enables high dynamics and efficiency in day-to-day production operations.
The M70 MILLTURN also sets new standards in tool management. Different magazine variants offer space for up to 200 tools, thereby enabling maximum flexibility during the application of complex workpieces. In addition, heavy-duty special tools can be integrated. Set-up parallel to machining time reduces idle time and sustainably increases productivity.
