Andreas Maier GmbH & Co. KG wins an internationally recognised design award for the fourth time in a row

The winners of the German Design Award 2019 have been announced. Andreas Maier GmbH & Co. KG (AMF) is again one of the winners and receives the coveted award “Winner 2019”.

After the awards in 2016 (AMF Gate Lock VARIBO), 2017 (AMF Power Clamp 7600), and 2018 (AMF Gripper), AMF convinced the jury for the fourth time in a row: The timeless and elegant interior design of the modernized AMF showroom impressed in the “Retail Architecture” category.

The modern AMF showroom was created with the visitor in mind: its timeless and elegant interior design and its minimalistic details incorporate the company’s corporate design and strongly focus on the presentation of the innovative clamping technology products. The multi-faceted and multimedia presentation invites you to try out the products.

The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. It applies very demanding and stringent standards before selecting the winners: German Design Council expert committees invite in an elaborate nomination procedure only those products and communication designs to the competition, whose design quality demonstrably differentiates them from the competition. All awards are determined during a two-day jury session. Since its inception in 2012, the German Design Award expanded considerably: At that time, the jury had to select from around 1,500 submissions – but more than 5,400 this year. This makes the German Design Award one of the most recognized design competitions worldwide and is highly regarded far beyond professional circles.
