The clamping nipple in our zero-point system is the interface between the machine table and the workpiece or fixture. It ensures exact positioning and secure clamping. The resulting work forces are transferred through the clamping nipple to the clamping module.
The precisely manufactured clamping modules of the AMF Zero-Point System ensure a secure and firm hold of the workpiece or fixture to be clamped.

The main body is from burnished steel. The collet, which is supplied as standard, has a diameter of
99 mm and is made from anodised, high-strength aluminium. The mechanism in the main body is
protected against dirt and coolant. Flanged base for fastening to the machine table. Provided on the
underside is the holder for the AMF K20 Zero Point system as well as grooves for positioning on AMF

For clamping complex workpiece contours for 5-sided machining in the machine tool. The collet is
machined to the contours of the workpiece, with a minimum location depth of 2 mm. Because the
clamping force is evenly applied to the component in a radial direction, the workpiece is clamped
without distortion. The clamping force can be adjusted via the clamping screw, using a torque wrench
for example. Consequently, especially suitable for thin-walled pipes and workpieces.

AMF MAGNETIC CLAMPING TECHNOLOGY,
THE WINNING TECHNOLOGY!
Based on years of development work and experience, AMF has been able to go beyond the typical limitations of obsolete electromechanical clamping systems, which are unsafe, unreliable, subject to overheating, and maintenance-intensive. The innovative electro permanent technology of AMF magnetic clamping technology guarantees great strength, total security and long-term reliability. The double magnetic cycle comprises a series of square poles in a chessboard arrangement. At the 4 sides of the poles there are static permanent magnets, while under the poles there are reversible magnets.
The windings of the reversible magnets generate a brief, strong magnetic field that is able to reverse the polarity of this type of magnet in a fraction of a second.

WHAT IS VACUUM?
A vacuum is the state in a space which is free of matter. In practice, we already call it a vacuum when the air pressure in a space is less than that of the atmosphere.

Vacuum clamping systems
Vacuum clamping systems are used above all in the
wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals industries for quick,

tools. Here vacuum technology is used in connection with
special handling systems, for example in order to fix an
aluminium plate and machine it from all sides. This increases
productivity and cost-effectiveness: the fixing does not
cause any damage to the workpiece, and no laborious,
time-consuming aligning of the workpiece is required.

AMF-Writer... and your machine will mark economically
The AMF-Writers are tools for the permanent marking of workpieces. They are preferably clamped in Weldon chucks and mounted in the machine spindle of a CNC machine.
Marking is a chieved by a combination of material compaction and compression. With the special needle, engraving is produced as if by rolling by means of an extremely hard ball bearing. The tool can be used with our without spindle rotation.
Due to the special design and a high quality support bearing, this tool can provide even and high quality marking without height adjustment of the machine spindle on smooth, uneven and rough surfaces with a eviation between 3 and 7mm. The tool is infinitely adjustable to for use on different materials, surface hardness and depth of marking. Used on the surface of 45 HRC hardened steel a marking distance of more than 70 km is possible wear free.
