The AM2000 Series is ANCA Motion’s latest generation of AC servo drives. The servo drives are significantly smaller than previous generations, reducing the requirements for costly cabinet space whilst maintaining ANCA Motion’s state-of-the-art technology.
The AMD2000 Series is suitable for both straightforward and complex applications alike. Motion limits for acceleration, velocity and position can be pre-programed allowing simple point-to-point moves to be triggered. The EtherCAT field bus allows many AMD2000 drives to be linked and run as a synchronised multi-axis machine.
The on board I/O can eliminate the need for costly separate I/O modules. The 24V outputs can be used to control related functions such as controlling motor brakes or auxiliary equipment. Inputs can be used to monitor machine states such as travel limits or start/stop commands.

With an IP65 rating and up to 2A through each of the 18 outputs, the EtherCAT®I/O Box is suitable for almost all applications. In built diagnostics detect broken cables, short circuits and overcurrent's quickly with onboard diagnostic functions and features. Solid state output enables the unit to reach very fast switching speeds and independent 24V inputs for output groups allows for external control.

The EtherCAT® relay panel combines 56 digital inputs (24 VDC) and 32 digital outputs (24 VDC / 110 VAC) all within a small robust package. This relay panel uses the latest EtherCAT® communications technologies to interface the digital I/O to Control System Software, thus allowing fast and flexible accessibility for real-time control.
The relay panel has 32 digital outputs that are controlled using mechanical relays, each capable of outputting 24 VDC or 110 VAC. The outputs are spread amongst two connectors with each connector being divided into two banks, left and right. Amongst the two banks, the outputs are split into two groups, one having individual voltage free outputs and the other sharing a common control voltage.
There are 20 common control/switched voltage outputs, 10 of which lie on the left bank and 10 that lie on the right bank. The individual left and right banks have their relays powered by BANKL and BANKR respectively.
The remaining 12 outputs are all voltage free outputs, and have been divided up into a group of 8 and a group of 4 outputs, where each group has High Voltage (HV) and Protective Earth Low Voltage (PEVL) isolation, thus allowing one group to switch all DC or AC voltages and the other to switch all DC or AC voltages. Note, within a PELV/HV group, combinations of AC and DC voltages should not be switched as there is no electrical isolation on the individual outputs.
